The A2 Certificate of Competency (A2 CofC) is a drone qualification that allows us to fly a UAS “close to people”. Under the new regulations set out by the CAA (Civil Aviation Authority), we are also able to operate a drone commercially.
We hold Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) specific drone public liability insurance for the insured value of £1 million which enables to carry out fully commercial operations for your specific requirements.

The A1 subcategory allows us to fly over people with our drone or flying with no intentional flight over uninvolved persons.
This means on top of our A2 CofC, we have also completed the DMARES (Drone and Model Aircraft Education Service) so we hold a Flyer ID and Operator ID, and are drone operates with noise limitations and geo-awareness.
The A2 subcategory allows us to fly closer to people, as hold an A2 Certificate of Competency (A2 CofC) in the UK.
We’re able to fly down to 30m of uninvolved people, or down to 5m when our UAV is switched to a low-speed mode.
We operate as a social enterprise that is part of regional charity Access Community Trust.
Any revenues made from our commercial services are all reinvested back into the communities we support.
