Strike A Chord

> Raising Money For Charity This Christmas

Strike A Chord is raising money and awareness this Christmas for charity.

Whilst sharing the important work the charity does to support other young people under 25 just like themselves with free mental health & wellbeing support in The Junction.

A goal is set to try and raise £3,000 to support much needed free mental health services for young people.

Strike A Chord is a collective of young people aged between 12-19 years old who are currently supported with music therapy, delivered by youth mental health workers at Lowestoft’s young persons hub The Junction, and Sunrise Studios.

As part of the project, they have also been experimenting with writing and learning music and how to play instruments.

This has led to the composition of their very own Christmas Single titled ‘The Winters Night’, which is now available to download and/or stream on all major streaming platforms from 1 December 2023.

Help get the song
in the UK top 100

Alongside this great achievement release, all monies raised will be donated back into the service which provides a range of holistic support to young people struggling with their mental health.

You can watch a short video below on YouTube, which showcases exactly what the project is doing for young people in Lowestoft.

We do however know times are tough, and would appreciate any support you can give, either through making a small donation, sharing our story, or streaming/downloading the single – the song is eligible for the UK charts and we know if making it to the top 100 it would mean so much to them.
